Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

Hi JawZ,

I remember a while back you posted some screens of an incredibly beautiful aurora retexture. I downloaded ELE mostly just for that texture in fact and was very disappointed not to find it inside. Is it not ready for release yet? Will it be included in a future version, or has it been discontinued for some reason? It really is a shame, I have found only one other aurora replacer on the Nexus and it is nowhere near as pretty as yours. :)

Do you mean these?
http://enbdev.com/enbseries/forum/viewt ... 430#p40991

If so then the ones included in v49 are the same as can be seen in the above comment and with a new skyrimauroraswirl01 texture not present in that shoot, vanilla was used in that one.

Reason for me not uploading any of the new aurora textures I have created is because they all suffer from some visual "bug". Either be it a texture seam which makes the texture seem less fluid, texture transparency not present and creates a solid plane instead of a blended texture with the sky, etc.

Actually I meant these:

They look pretty dang amazing to me. I actually like the slight vertical striping, is that what you mean by less fluid? It makes the aurora look a lot more detailed.

--JawZ-- Thanks for update :)

I have a little problem with Weather type 4d7fb, SnowyWeather, v49

Water line becomes very visible, this is the most annoying, and everything looks really flat. maybe too flat, only ambient light, but it's matter of taste, of course :)

I use Realistic Water Two.

See, what I mean:

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

Ah those hmm I will see if I still have those.

No, that is not it. But you can see the problem in the first link with my ELE texture, on the left side of the picture you can see a very distinguishable line that cuts through the aurora texture. Just one the edge of the Helix texture.
But I fixed that in the second shoot.

And that is still in the file as far as I can remember only difference is that there are two other textures on top of it, in those pictures there was only the single one texture. The aurorastreak01.

Guzio;

Yeah I know, it's still under development. The fog is creating that damn brightened water line. And the direct lighting should almost be in par with the ambient lighting and the ambient lighting currently is too weak. As I said still working on this weather and snow weathers are very dependent on texture brightness.

The only texture I can currently find in the ELE-archive is sun.dds. Am I maybe downloading the wrong version? If you could maybe release your aurora texture as a standalone replacer, I would love you forever!

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

Hello!
I downloaded latest version and noticed that the dungeon I use for testing lightning mods is using vanilla lighting. V44 doesnt have this problem.
Summary: V44 - ELE lighting, V49 - vanilla lighting. Same modsetup for both.
Dungeon is "broken oar grotto".
Hope this helps somehow.

Also your mailbox on skyrim nexus seems to be full, get the errormessage "The member --JawZ-- cannot receive any new messages".

Re: Enhanced Lightning for ENB, updated 12/05

Saerileth;

4 sun.dds
2 sunglare.dds
1 aurorastreak01.dds
1 aurorastreak02.dds
1 auroraswirl01.dds
3 auroralut.dds (same one included in each aurora texture folder)
2 skystars.dds
1 galaxy.dds
1 Mass set with 2 out of 8 textures complete.
3 clouds.dds

Those are the texture included in the latest release.

Fiewiel;

That interior is covered and is functioning as it should, if it looks like vanilla you have a mod that overwrites my changes.
But if you are referring to the light bulbs being vanilla, then that is because I have not covered that interior cell yet with the ELE - Light Bulbs Interior module.

Somehow I managed to completely miss your weekend updates! I think I downloaded the NMM-Alpha the first time, no wonder I couldn't find the files.

Thank you very much for this lovely texture, just tried it ingame and it looks amazing. :3
