That is absolutely fantastic. It highlights the skewed scale of Skyrim's landscape a bit, but man how regal that is.

Confidence-Man;

Thanks for the tip and again nice looking screens. You have really benefited from the cloud shadows effect.

Hi friends!

I just saw this post today...

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/10858676080

As much as I enjoy hacking EDIDs to get a 4k resolution. It looks like Steam is spoiling us and making things easy.
(The part about seeing 5120x2880 when using a 2560x1440 monitor does not work for me.) Let me know if you 1440p monitor owners have better luck.

Anyways, I encourage everyone to try taking some screenshots at 2x native resolution. you might find it addicting. :P Would be REALLY amazing to see some of your shots in 2160p or above!

I think you need to backup your current skyrim INI files and open the game from the SkyrimLauncher in order to see the new resolution options.
You likely need to be in Steam ONLINE mode as well...

BTW - @salt - Your config is looking awesome! I really like the last two shots! What mod is used for the snow on the roofs?

Doesn't work for me unfortunately. Also I'm pretty sure the snow on the roofs isn't a mod but an area in the Dragonborn DLC.

Sorry bud, It should work. It seems to be a native option now!

As a side note... If you uninstall STEAM, your entire game library is deleted without any option to save your game date. DOES THIS MAKES SENSE TO ANYONE? FUCKKKKKKK ME!!

rashbeep - The running spriggan is very beautiful

Unreal - Your grass pics make Skyrim seem a very peaceful and lovely place: really impressive

ZeroKing - Very Amazing shots, especially the shrine of Stendarr: it's marvellous

Asgaard - Thanks :) Very nice pics: the dragon in first set is epic

And also envy a lot your presets: must be wonderful to play in such a impressive result ingame :o

WoodsOfYpres - Thanks a lot :) Great shots: your water is breathtaking (also the sunlight pics and shouting dovahkiin are very good)

Guzio - I normally hate falmers, but your pics make them epic and nice: I saw details in them I never noticed before

MrRoderick - Very impressive! The warrior with nordic carved armor is great

kaffeekranz - Nice shots (not mediocre)

Confidence-Man -- What a great lighting.

saltr -- As always, I lack words of appreciation :)

aal -- This is due to the great "Book of Silence" mod.

Guzio - Thanks :D

The character, unfortunately, is not my creation (on my own, I'm not so good with with the final results  ) : she is "Mindi Badweyn a Nord Follower" by nafis399 and articocean, from Nexus : www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46458/?

Your last pics are simply fantastic in lights, shadows and colours: the guard in first pic, the water and its colour in the second, and the colours and atmosphere in graveyard pic are wonderful
