OMG AAL, I don't want to be rude but those are amazing shots, and can you post your config for everyone? To me it is the best I have seen... at least for my personal taste... actually has a realistic look it...

Somebody a idea how to improve these generic landscape popup texture rendering issues ?

This is a complete new Skyrim install (Default Ultra setup) :(

Not sure if it's the Anisotropic Texture filtering but the texture suddenly blurs in when getting closer not sure if the lod distance needs to be even further away but all the other textures are rendered ok such behavior is just strange. :(

this is so strange now i move infront of the texture so it blurs in then i move back and it stays loaded like it should when entering the scene :( ????

Indeed but im only interested for my problem in these parts :)

iTexMipMapMinimum=4
iTexMipMapSkip=0

the other stuff goes a little to much into placebo and could do rather bad then any good

It should work out of the box though, so there's something else wrong.

are you sure the texture and mesh is very far in the distance ?

but yeah if you compare it with the texture and meshes behind it it is strange that just that 1 distant texture gets blurred out (it makes 0 sense why) :(

iTexMipMapMinimum=4
iTexMipMapSkip=0

had 0 effect on this blurring out

will try the whole config

No go also the new config lets the texture be blurred

PS: Wait i actually have 1 mod installed that i was testing on this new install Soolies Distance LOD Mod (which in the very far distance gave excelent results for big landscape masses) but why should it cause this behavior ?

Interesting Deleting Soolies Mod changes the look of the blurring so it seems the lod was applied on it as well, but it doesn't change the initial situation it is still blurred out also the same with ewis full config.

Without Soolies Distant Lod Mod :)

This becomes really interesting what the Engine does here :)

If you send me your skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini, then I can try it and at least assure you that the fault's not in there somewhere.
