Re: TES Skyrim 0.241

Fog color is white, but it white only when sky is covered by clouds or when sky is clear and sun visible, so blue+yellow=white. Of course in shadows it color is ambient color, which is blue in most cases. I've expected such "bug" reports, but because nobody care about real values for weather colors, no problem, i can make changes, but what exactly and how?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.241

I didn't mean to suggest in any way the problem was with ENB, I should have been much clearer (I thought/figured it was an issue either with AMD or on my end and should have stated so). >.< I'm very sorry if it came across as me suggesting ENB was at fault because I totally agree with what Oyama said and that 99% of people complaining about ENB is them complaining about their own failed mod setup. I am just unused to having a GPU that can actually handle epic ENB without needing to be toned down, and had never experienced tearing because my FPS was over 60. >.<

Ps - The new features are beyond amazing Boris. The tools you've created are like digital oil paints and camera lenses that let artists make amazing works of art (beyond the work of art that is ENB itself).

Sorry for off-topic/previous crappy post (thought maybe I found something weird with the new AMD cards). Noobness leaving the convo now.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.241

I see even EnabledShadows=false for VMFog the fog color changed but very little. Is this for the fog receiving shadows or casting shadows? Never thought about or pay attention to real fog if it casts shadows until now. :)

Re: TES Skyrim 0.241

It's for them receiving shadows.
Normally they also cast shadows though, yes.

I guess I have this "bug" because my shadowed sky statics become a really strong blue in the evening. Is it based on the directional ambient color or the general ambient color that applies to grass? My ambient colors are slightly blue in cloudy weather at night but nothing this intense:

And it turns on and off depending on where I'm looking:

Kyo, I must agree and applaud. I don't know if this was intentional but Boris mathematics on ENB is producing the sun rays on east at sunset. I had to google this, and I see this is a natural phenomenon. Here's youtube video in real life showing the sunray on east.

I tried to find out what is wrong with fog and saw (and fixed) that at certain camera "angles" shadow dissapear. If that what you mean.

Confidence-Man
[ENVIRONMENT] ambient and direct light non scaled by those parameters (vanilla values) used to compute how much to dark fog in shadow. Originally fog use already mixed color from engine, it must be ambient+sun light, but by some reason it brighter, so i computed balance for ambient for interpolation. Of course i can make gray output, but it's wrong in general, shadowed volumetric fog gray by color will look strange if environment ambient is blue. I don't know what to do with this.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.241

Version updated, download again
Added parameter DisplacementFilterQuality to control performance of water displacement. Fixed bug with turning off shadows of volumetric fog.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.241

During my last Skyrim run, with the previous binary, i've got a terrible slowdown in the exteriors - to ~8 FPS. I was in interior when the game loaded, got outside with around 40FPS(ok with my system&quality settings). Then i go into another interior, spend some time there and when i exit it's around 8FPS.
Also, i just tried that again with the same result.

Going to try the latest one now.

edit: tried it, same behavior. Just exit to exterior(40FPS), back to the same interior cell, exit to exterior again - 8FPS.
