Boris
I totally get what you mean, and have nothing to add after this.
These were words one remains silent after.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.244
Yeah no problems here either with 0.244.
I ran 0.221 when I first noticed it didn't work and was quite positive I tested 0.244 and got the same result but the issue was only happening for me in 0.221.
Sorry about this hasty jumping to conclusion error on my part.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.244
I think that bug with volumetric cloud shadows where they flicker on and off depending on where you look has crept back in.
Effect is turned off here.

I didn't anything to the code which may affect volumetric fog. At least compare different versions and report which have issue and which aren't.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.244
Ok, I hadn't realized before but it happens in all versions (241, 243, 244). I should've clarified, this is only when the shadows are unchecked. When it's checked the effect stays on. When unchecked it flickers between pure white and the normal unshadowed color.

Do you mean clouds from shadows? When exactly, when clouds shadows disabled or enabled?
EDIT: may be you don't use apply button?
EDIT2: guess i understood what is wrong. Please test if this issue will occur in next update (hope to do it soon).
