Re: TES Skyrim 0.245

With the latest release I get:

Supersampling on ~
SSAO c. 0.0076
SSAO filtering c. 0.0009

Supersampling off ~
SSAO c. 0.0047
SSAO filtering c. 0.0005

With the previous .245 release:

Supersampling on ~
SSAO c. 0.0102
SSAO filtering c. 0.0009

Supersampling off ~
SSAO c. 0.0058
SSAO filtering c. 0.0005

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245

With Vividian ENb 2.76 i get around 0.0040 with Supersampling
and 0.0025 without.
But thats hardly a guess as the values jump up and down.
The framerate difference is 2-3 fps here now with my GTX 670

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245

I have to be on my rig, but from what I remember, I hardly noticed any REAL difference, FPS wise (maybe 2 or 3, as above) between supersampling on and off.
The effect was working, though, and more than perfectly.
What made a difference was setting ILType to=1, which compared to 0 sucked 5 to 7 FPS right away, when coupled with supersampling.
I'll check stats when back on rig.

Interesting, don't forget to check back in.
As I'm dipping into the 20s with Supersampling, I'd happily trade in the 'new' IL for a few fps.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245

I'm getting pretty much the same performance with this version as the last, no real difference that I notice, which, for me, means it's still very playable. :) I'll get some solid numbers later on today.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245

I must be a no0b or something lol. .245 still didn't work so I was like WTF.. I decided to backup the files in my skyrim root directory and move all the files and folders from the .245 wrapper folder into my root.

I was only replacing the enbhost.exe and d3d9.dll. Also tried replacing enbhost.exe, d3d9.dll, enbseries.ini and enblocal.ini In previous attempts. Moving all the files and folders from the wrapper folder seemed to fix it.

Now the game works but looks strange compared to the 236 version. I realized the enbseries.ini is different so I tried to duplicate the settings of the old one I had. The game seems to look like the 236 when I disable use effect and looks weird when I turn it on.

This is probably some settings I need to change but im not sure which ones I need to adjust.

Any help would be great. I really appreciate the support here and feel really bad I made you work harder than you had to. For anyone having issues I would suggest backing up your files from your root directory and unpack the entire wrapper folder into your root. ALWAYS BACKUP!!!

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245

The last update is running really well - good performance increase when complex AO/IL set

Love the new IL setting - faces really come to life now with the improved lighting :D

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I'm trying to get the ENBoost because I really need it for my skyrim game, but I can't find a download link anywhere. The only download links I've seen are in ads and they install mod managers not the ENBoost.

Please help.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245

Nice performance boost with the latest. I didn't see the half second to a second pause anymore, and smooth game play.

I did have 1 CTD and 1 reboot, but I think those probably related to SSAO and SSAO's supersampling over working my GPU. The 1st CTD occurred while I enabled and disabled SSAO. Restarted the game without SSAO supersamling, and enabled SSAO. My PC rebooted while I ran from North Shriekwind to Riverwood. After reboot, started Skyrim again without SSAO, and ran from North Shriekwind to all the way to Whiterun without any issue. Kept running for another 10 minutes, and saw very smooth game play. Here's my SSAO settings with SSAO supersampling disabled. I always played without SSAO for overall smooth game play, so no impact not having SSAO for me.
