I have my SizeScale currently at 1.224744871391589 which, if my math is right, is 150%
Boris
Ok, I'll switch to SizeScale 1.0 and see how it looks. I may do a little experimenting just because I like to do that... who knows, maybe I'll have a placebo effect hit me that, while totally false, makes me think it looks better with higher scales. Probably not, now that I know the truth =P

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245
They can't be separated. Ambient occlusion is a hint, the game have ambient lighting set to specific value always, ignoring occluders. I can only decrease ambient lighting (light from sky hemisphere) by ambient occlusion, but not add it. GI makes everything brighter, so ambient lighting must be set to 0 and computed from sky, occluded how? Right, by ambient occlusion. Ambient occlusion is for sky, indirect lighting for everything in general. AO and IL do not fight with each other, they affect different things, impossible to make darkness and light in same place, is that calling fight? Then i can't fix it.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245
I played Skyrim single GPU and SLI with different cards (GTX 670 single and SLI, Titan single and SLI). While SLI made not much difference in Oblivion (but rumours tell, that SLI should make Oblivion more stable, but no fps gain actually), in Skyrim it almost doubles my fps. As I play on a 27'' on 2560 x 1440 resolution I actually need SLI to have enough fps for playing a heavily modded Skyrim and heavy ENB presets anyways.midhras wrote:From what I've heard from people that use SLI/Crossfire, running two cards seems to give lower FPS in Fallout anyways, using current ENB binaries. Don't know if it's the same for Skyrim, and no, I've not tested extensively myself. I gave away my SLI setup when I got the single 680. But hey, it was just a thought. From what I saw on the images, that medium quality SSAO those guys were running didn't look half bad.ENBSeries wrote:midhras
Temporal methods do not work with sli/crossfire (or if they are, then slower and i can't test that), it's same kind problem as temporal antialiasing which cut fps almost twice for sli/crossfire, but very fast when using single card. Also temporal have very poor quality because of artifacts.
Here some screenshots from Prod80's new Serenity ENB (he renamed it, because it should have nothing to do with Oyama's K ENB anymore): CoT Weather Patch Serenity ENB 245
...and Oyama...get your presets back onto Nexus! There is no preset with exception of prod80's left now, which is able to challenge ultra rigs...

Setups will be different and I'll add some.
I have no other interests than compliment Boris's work and add some new effects to shaders

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245
CoT plus Expanded Snow Systems plus CoT - Weather Patch makes for several different snowy weathers, some of which are quite foggy. I'd guess the fog version of CoT - Weather Patch makes it even more so, but not sure as I'm not using it for performance reasons.Yasen wrote:Someone, help:

Re: TES Skyrim 0.245
I appreciate the link to nexus mods, but that a link I already have. I need to know how to download ENBoost .245 since the only thing listed on nexusmods are the enblocal.ini files needed for my videocard. The instructions say to grab enboost from http://enbdev.com/ but there isn't a download link or download section that I can find.Arkngt wrote:Here:jarquafelmu wrote:I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I'm trying to get the ENBoost because I really need it for my skyrim game, but I can't find a download link anywhere. The only download links I've seen are in ads and they install mod managers not the ENBoost.
Please help.

From the install instructions
I can't follow the instructions if I can't download the full program to do so. Please help.Install wrote:1) Download "ENBSeries 0.195" or NEWER version.
2) Unpack ENBSeries files from "WrapperVersion" folder to your Skyrim game
folder where TESV.exe file is. For some users "InjectorVersion" should be
used to fix compability issues with other software or for laptops with Optimus.
3) Select proper enblocal.ini to your hardware file from ENBoost archive folders
and extract it to game folder by replacing the same one from ENBSeries.
4) Run the game.
