Did another little update to revert the enbeffect to the 1.2 version due to some issues with the new nighteye (I should've tested it more).
joshezzell - I haven't actually tried it yet, so I'm not sure. I've already come across some areas where I think it'll be useful though. Like if you have a foggy weather where the mist sort of hangs low it normally couldn't follow the terrain, but with anchors I'm thinking you can make it so as you move through elevation changes it will always stay relatively low to the ground.

Hey Confidence Man, what is your fps while playing using the ENB? I can't help but get almost unplayable fps while playing. Seeing how our specs are almost the same, if you are playing at a somewhat high fps, I wanted to try and get the same results as you (image/fps wise).

I wouldn't say I'm playing at a somewhat high fps, it's like 20 or so, dips into the low teens often.hellfire wrote:Hey Confidence Man, what is your fps while playing using the ENB? Re: Natural Lighting and Atmospherics for ENB
Just a tip for anyone needing some extra performance, try reducing these values in enbseries.ini:
[REFLECTION]
SizeScale=1.0 --> 0.5
SourceTexturesScale=1.0 --> 0.5
Obviously this does reduce the quality of reflections, but I find this is usually unnoticeable unless you are doing closeup screenshots. I find reducing reflection sizescales can give you a big FPS boost, especially in interiors, depending on your resolution and other settings.
Hope this helps

@Confidence Man
Supreme kudos to you; what you have achieved here is in a league of its own.
On a 780m, I am able to play at 1600x900 at 30-50 FPS at all times. I did reduce SSAO scales to 0.35, though I have also enabled temporal AA. This is also with the high-res texture packs etc. It's literally like a dream to play
One question: In dark scenes, mostly night, I notice some 'animated noise' in dark areas. Is this a part of your preset, or did I maybe mess something up?
Thanks again for this. I'm actually playing Skyrim again for the first time in over 2 years!

Naughty boy, the demise of SES struck my heart deeply. What'dya say, an update for a liver? You can always save it for a rainy day.tapioks wrote:Thanks again for this. I'm actually playing Skyrim again for the first time in over 2 years!
@Confidence Man,
Truly amazing work. It's the only current ENB preset that manages a realistic look without being boring and suicide-inducing. I applaud thee, o' talented gentleman.

@electricsheep - I have reflections disabled for exteriors, so it will only help your framerate inside.

Thanks for your amazing job Confidence-Man.
I rarely post because i speak French, and my english are very bad... But your ENB is brillant, and many thanks for that
I just tweaked interiors for ELFX, and i love the result.
Thanks again Confidence-Man
