What kind of hardware are you running? That's some pretty impressive fps for 8k shadows.
Oh, that's interesting, so it's normal? Good to know.
Well I have:
nVidia GTX 770 2 GB VRAM
Intel S1150 Core Core i5-4670K, 4x 3.40GHz (OC to only 4.2 GHz because I'm too scared of changing the voltage >.<)
Crosair Vengeance DIMM DDR3 8GB PC3-12800U
And the ENBoost is tweaked according to OhKay's guide (which btw caused a massive debate for some reason)

seems like you are out of memory, try this for a size. my config plus Shelson's fix. works for me, never had a problem. on latest ENB's and Nvdia's driver
[MEMORY]
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=true
DisablePreloadToVRAM=true
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
ReservedMemorySizeMb=512
VideoMemorySizeMb=8192
EnableCompression=true
AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false
And I might have made some other hardware tweaks, but that was months ago and I can't think of any from the top of my head, cuz I'm tired.^^
EDIT: I did turn ENB Ambient Occlusion and substituted it with nVidida's and use Dynavision for DoF to raise the framrate, though
