Rockstar doing "optimization of shadows" decreased their draw distance.

So R* increase quality and decrease draw distance of shadows... lol

PS: Shadows at "Very High" in v1.0.7.0 drops your fps... at "High" have better quality than "Very High" in v1.0.4.0 and not are so fps killer :S

Donations are donations, not payment or salary. And why not just to wait? Are you hurry somewhere or GTA4 was released few days ago? I can't drop TES Skyrim now.

Yes, you right, but I will not make a donation for a game that really do not like and I hate like Skyrim, so if I make a donation will be for GTAIV.

I've been waiting for years, so I don't mind waiting a little longer, don't worry.

Okay, i must drop all the work and modify gta4 to get donation as it's the last chance to stay alive.
If to be serious, donations are just the money i can spend for hardware, to buy games for making mods for them, pay for web hosting, it's kind of separate money by perception, not my own which are to eat, to pay for appartment, etc. But i'm not crazy, development cost much for me and donations or advertisement on the site rarely able compensate this (only in two first months when skyrim was released, but i was almost free from job). It would be nice to stay teenager in the parents house forever and half of the day after school modify or play games, then donations are fine.

Can I post here what are problems with latest patch for GTA IV?

If I can, I mention:
- red sky when I look at west or east
- azimuth between 8pm - 6am doesn't work properly; example: I have set that azimuth at 7pm and 8pm is yellow, at 7pm it work very well, but at 8pm azimuth is blue as rest of sky; this reduces realism
- only work reflections (without on chrome, wheels and glasses), bloom, sky (without moon), post proccess and trees.

If I recall something, I will write here.

Version updated to beta 9 from beta 3
Added code for detecting sun position on screen and pass it to the shaders. I've corrupted sources of all 0.082 mods, so if it not work properly, this unfixable.
