And because we all seem to be into this "realism thing" this is an image of my own Serenity ENB (personal settings). No tweaking for this particular shot, actually I never do that anyway.

Hey prod, where is the natural preset that you had as 4.5? I loved it!

Gone. The ENB is finished.
I'll upload my own personal take at how it should look, perhaps in a few days.

I guess it will be better than the natural colors, just wont look within something reasonable on everyone's system since the used textures on your end will matter a great deal on how it should look (saturation, brightness, etc still very much depend on your textures). Current version has a sort of "buffer" to account for all the different textures, but this also caused the ENB to not look how it fully can.

Anyway, best is still when people set it up themselves for their own system. Simply put all controls to their default and tweak from there...

Here's default, easy to tweak from. Of course disable all extra effects except for Grain. Start with tonemapping, then saturation level. If you do it well you do not have to change black level / white level and you can do almost everything with Saturation, Vibrance and Tonemapping (those are the only controls used in the screenshot I posted). Notice that I put Skyrim IS (Image Space) max saturation to 0.6, this is to normalize all weathers, the saem for contrast and tint. So that saturation/vibrance and tonemapping will respond properly in game regardless of the weather settings (given the differences in lighting, of course). Enjoy;

Code: Select all

Skyrim IS: Max Saturation=0.6
Skyrim IS: Max Contrast=0.9
Skyrim IS: Max Brightness=1.0
Skyrim IS: Max Tint Amount Day=0.275
Skyrim IS: Max Tint Amount Night=0.275
Skyrim IS: Max Tint Amount Interior=1.0
Enable Contrast Bloom=false // Leave at false
Bloom RGB Balance Day=0.5, 0.5, 0.5
RGB Balance=0.5, 0.5, 0.5 // Maybe small tweak to lower green by 0.002 or 3 points.
Tonemap Shoulder Strength=1.0 // Higher makes highlight stronger
Tonemap Linear Strength=1.0 // Strenght of the curve
Tonemap Linear Angle=0.5 // Angle of the tonemapping curve, lower values greatly increase contrast
Tonemap Toe Strength=1.0 // Strenght of the blacks
Tonemap Toe Numerator=0.25 // Angle of the Toe (lower part of S curve)
Tonemap Toe Denominator=1.0 // Angle of the Toe (lower part of S curve)
Tonemap White Scale=5.5 // Strength of White, lower values allow more blown out, higher will supress
CC: Pre-Brightness=1.35 // Leave at 1.35, this value comes from Skyrim
CC: Saturation=1.0
CC: Black Level=0.0
CC: Gamma Curve=1.0 // DO NOT CHANGE THIS when you set it up for your OWN system
CC: White Level=1.0
CC: Black Cutoff=0.0
CC: White Cutoff=1.0
CC: Vibrance=1.0
