There are people using 337.50 where it works, so I doubt it.
Just do the test and install the 337.50 driver on your other PC.. most likely it will work as well. It has to be something different.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0256

NeoGAF user Wickfut recorded a video to demonstrate how this ENB could possibly achieve the pre-downgrade lighting.

I think the torch scene towards the end of the video is fantastic!

Thank you Boris for putting such an effort into this, I really appreciate it!

I don't even know how to load saved game, for me game use only one save and it's loaded only once not far from game start, together with user profile. If this is the case of fail, try to set UseEffect=false and if it still crash, the bug is not because of issues with graphic related things, so it's even harder to localize.

Okay, i'll try again that aspect thing. But the artifacts are problematic, probably. I know about strange bugs at certain points of the game, like portals, but they have less than second period, so i don't know how to debug them to understand what happening there.

Dork
It have supersampling support already, which is downsampling also, so is it not work or you don't see that parameters?

Btw, game is very buggy, not same as Skyrim was, but still too bad and i don't recommend to play now or you will get same issues as Skyrim players who were unable to continue because of bugs in saved games after 100+ hours, better wait for patches.

Yeah, I meant the Continue button.
When you start a new game though, it creates different save files for your different playthroughs.

Unfortunately it also crashes with useeffect=false.
Do you have any idea at all what else I could try? Especially since it works for some users and for others not, it's just strange.
I'm not doing anything special on my PC here. Standard Windows installation with standard drivers, no crap running in the background.

There's guys on different OS versions, on different CPU and GPU brands and on different drivers.. it's just so inconsistent why it works only for some people.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0256

Tested at 1680*1050 and don't see any difference with mod and without it, aspect ratio is correct (UseOriginalPostProcessing=true and false both). So i can't fix that problem atm.

You can try other my mods, for example Skyrim pre 0.250 version and if some of them will work without crash, let me know which are, but which are not (for example 0.246 works, but 0.250 not). I don't know what else, trials and errors disabling part of the code will do nothing, but takes a lot of time, because even if i'll find what not work, the reason still unknown. Are you sure Steam overlay not enabled?

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0256

I never had a problem with your Skyrim versions, the only ones that acted strange are the Fallout ones on Windows 8(.1), but that could be fixed by using the injector and it's been the same for everyone on Windows 8.
It's only Dark Souls that's acting up and I believe you that it's not your fault.
Don't bother spending countless hours on it, what's annoying me is just that it's so random. If I find something I'll let you know, but I think I've already done everything short of formatting.

And yes, Steam Overlay is disabled. I never use those, not on Steam and not on Origin.

/e

Or did you mean I should try your other game *.dlls on Dark Souls?
I just tested some Skyrim ones.. big jumps from 250 down to 119, all of them crashed the same way like the Dark Souls mod. Shortly after hitting the loading screen.

The generic ENB version works though, obviously.

Deus Ex:HR doesn't work.

Blade of Darkness goes past the loading screen, so works (it starts, but there's a lot of artifacts bent triangles, but the mod wasn't made for the game).

Fallout version crashes.

Oblivion version crashes.

Everything with the same error code.

My favourite moments from an ENB video so far!

Already looking closer to the pre-downgrade demos!

Let there be light!

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0256

Thanks for the update !

I don't know if that can help, but i'm using nvinspector to tweak the game, the problem is those tweaks only works on "real" 16/9 resolution (because of the bad port i think), so i had to downgrade mine from 1366*768 to 1280*720(in game), i've tried on my second screen which is in 1680*1080, same thing i had to set it in 1600*900 to make the effects works.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0256

To really test these issues I think people need to close as many applications as possible before playing the game. This should eliminate as many possible elements. Its not the new Nvidia drivers because I have them and my game works.
