That's not really useful. System specs and hardware? What values are you using, does changing anything fix the crash? Come on guys, when you report a crash, just saying it's a crash is purely useless info.Ryuken wrote:the new version loading, but crash

Also, if you'd read back a bit, this is not the proper thread for reports on crashes.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
To anyone playing at any 16:10 resolution I have a fix.
Downsampling.
Go to Nvidia Control Panel and make a new custom 16:9 resolution (for example and practice use 1920 x 1080).Don't mess with timings, leave them on Auto ( Win 7 and above).
Go ingame and choose the newly added resolution. No streching,no landscape texture visual issues, nothing bad at all.
You thank me later.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
I already know this downsampling solution. The fact is my screen doesn't accept any 16/9 resolution except 1600x900, which is a close enough solution for me but this is not a "true" fix
And this doesn't work for AMD people
I answered on the other topic too

1680x1050 users can do custom resolution 1680x945 (16:9) and enjoy game without bluring.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
I don't know if anyone has tried this, but you could run the game in a window, and then use SRWE to resize it to any resolution you'd want. In fact, it can also be any aspect ratio you like. The game will resize and adjust to the new window size without stretching. This is how I do shots of different ARs and at 20MP resolution. Of course, if you're resizing the window to be larger than your desktop, part of the image will be invisible. This is not a problem if you want to shoot a static screen, but of course coordinated action shots are a no-no this way.
That said, I'm not suggesting you use SRWE for screenshots here, but simple to attain a resolution that normally won't work.
You can find SRWE on the Skyrim Nexus (strangely).

CyberPunked
I can't make your savegame work, from my folder or from new named as yours, nothing at all.

Sun not exist in the game as object. Sky - not sure that i can detect it without playing in all levels (what i defintely will not do). Fire i guess the same. It's port and bad quality game in general, i can't do much to that.

Re: Dark Souls 2 v0257
Excuse me while a have a slight chuckle there, Boris. I mean, Skyrim is a bad port and has a LOT of problems, and just look at what you've managed to do there. Of course even if it's as popular as it is right now, Dark Souls 2 won't come close to Skyrim in sheer player volume. I was simply listing a couple things that would make my life easier - not yoursBoris wrote:It's port and bad quality game in general, i can't do much to that.
Particles then? Or shadows? I've been using a free cam of sorts (Cheat Engine) and sadly whenever I do that, shadows in the game disappear.

There's a thread in offtopic for people with crashes, not sure why it's in offtopic tho..DaemonWhite wrote:That's not really useful. System specs and hardware?
