Re: Dark Souls 2 Crashes
Latest version gives a long start up delay, SSAO flickering at certain angles, and still random crashing. However, switching to NT compatibility mode has lowered the crash rate significantly.

Re: Dark Souls 2 Crashes
I get my crashes when I ALT+TAB, also the changes to the ENB ini files stops working and I have to reboot in order to continue.

Re: Dark Souls 2 Crashes
The game works kinda fine on NT 4, it still crashes rather often.
Does it do the same on 95?

Re: Dark Souls 2 Crashes
Test6 is interesting:
Very, very long startup time, ENB doesn't seem to be working, but it also crashes.
Before, either ENB worked and it crashed, or it didn't work and didn't crash, so this is new behaviour.
Test7:
Also very very long startup time, ENB not working and no crashes.

Re: Dark Souls 2 Crashes
I don't see any reason in tests, version 7 have code enabled, compared to version 6, but the most important part is that code is not graphics related, just a few functions from shader cache of Deus Ex 3 version and memory manager of Skyrim, which have internal checks if enabled or not. Also there is no single reason for longer loading times, on the contrary disabled creation of almost all internal resources, so timing must be similar for all PCs. Is this floating error of corrupted stack which kind of impossible to debug by trials and errors, i don't know. I don't understand even if it's mod bug or the game bug, now nothing points that it's mod issue. The only one thing testers can do is to test all mods for Skyrim, Fallout and other games to find out which of versions working without crashes, which are not (but only for same game, so f.e. Skyrim 102 works, but 103 not), then i can compare code and create new builds for testing.

Re: Dark Souls 2 Crashes
I tried both test in XP mode and NT mode.
Test 6 crashed upon loading save game; start up a little longer; no ENB; XP mode.
And test 7 loaded but crashed in certain spots in game; start up a little longer; no ENB; XP mode. Both worked fine in NT mode.
edit: With no compatibility mode both test 6 and 7 crashed either upon loading save game or while in game.

Re: Dark Souls 2 Crashes
I think kaffeekranz have different reason for crashes.
