I've been trying to set up the latest ENB. I must have made a mistake somewhere because all it's doing is draining the image of color, making everything appear grayish: Image

For comparison, with the effect disabled:

In most cases it's because bFloatingPointRenderTarget=1 is not set in skyrim config file (don't remember the real name of that parameter, check readme).

It is set to 1. ENB warns me if it is set to 0. Any other ideas?

Have you tried to compare with original enbseries.ini? I don't know what you changed, may be it's just color correction parameters.

I have tried using fresh installations of v262, v236, v221; they all show the same problem. If nobody else is experiencing the same, I guess it must be related to my system or something I did to my installation of Skyrim.

Do you have enbpalette image file or may be effect.txt shader? They may be wrong or not tweaked. Look in game folder and in enbseries folder, if it exist.

I removed the enbseries folder and all files beginning with 'e' before each test.

I have the exact same problem with v0.262. This is the first time I install ENB so no previous version.

The graphic card is a GTX260 with the latest WHQL drivers.

bFloatingPointRenderTarget=1 is set.

I tried everything I could think of but color is washed out as shown on the first post screenshots, making the mod unusuable.
It happens with both the wrapper and injector versions.

RendererInfo.txt in the Skyrim user folder reports this:

I don't remember anything else about this issue. It was frequently reported at early time of development, but all fixes were about mod manager which dublicate skyrimprefs.ini. With proper skyrimprefs.ini and even my default files this must not happen. May be you forgot some files from other presets, palette image or effect.txt, files in folder "enbseries" if it exist. I don't know.

There's no effect.txt or palette files in folders enbseries or elsewhere.

I even tried with a clean SkyrimPrefs.ini (by renaming the previous one and let the game generate it) but it didn't fix
the problem...
