LucidAPs
Welcome back mate!! Glad to see ya, sarge!
klotim
Nice textures but I think the ground tex are a bit too consistent. It's too perfect aligned with eachother, makes it look a little unnatural.
But the stone walls "rocks"!

Re: TES Skyrim
A few shots I liked from my WIP preset. Focused on shadows and color balance. I still have a ton to learn and add/fix before I release this! For one, I cannot for the life of me get enbeffect.fx.ini to actually do anything (I'll save that for another thread)

Looks great so far!
Insomnia
Fixed, now I need someone to fix transitions with roads and solitude grass. I'm a ck noob...

Why are you tweaking the fx.inis? You should just tweak in-game using the GUI which automatically saves the fx.ini.

Two randoms.

Re: TES Skyrim
1. Look at the vanilla alpha maps and use them, they do those transitions. As they are working pretty weird, changing them a lot is sometimes not very succesful.klotim wrote:
2. You need to put a shadow under the stones between the stones and the grass.
I guess you used a layer mask to cut out the stones and you have that layer above the grass.
Use the layer mask, invert, now they have the form of the stones in black.
Blur them a few times and set the layer under the stones, but above the grass.
Now you got a shadow on the outer parts of the stones and the texture doesn't look as weird as before.
I'm pretty ill, hope this was understandable.

Re: TES Skyrim
Awesome shots!! And sorry, to clarify, I am adjusting those values with the GUI in-game, but they don't actually do anything, and I can't seem to figure out why.Insomnia wrote:fadingsignal
