Not using palette either.

Problems with Sun depend on tonemapping, white level, etc. using palette transforms HDR image to LDR and most palette increase contrast too by not providing a correct gradient from dark to light but some curved response which will burn out to white earlier and make deeper blacks. So if you build preset around palette, then take out palette, you can start over. Screenshot would help about the exact issue.

Anything a palette does can be done better by just using code.

kaffeekranz, two presets, last two shots are from low contrast, you can try both without any lighting/weather mods or with CoT

night is too bright at the moment, and interiors are not tweaked at all :)

I think it looks good. And bright nights aren't bad imo. Great for captures not soo much realism.

Been tweaking my own enb for awhile now. Fixed the interiors after insomnia gave me some advice. Thanks btw.

I am delaying with some over sharpness atm. I Personally like it (knows many would not) However I think lessening it may be best at least just a bit. And I have secretly used other enbs you've released (if memory serves me correctly) and enjoyed your works.

My bototm photos showcase that. My upper that I posted I kind of began tweaking and think i found a happy medium.

Personally once you've got interiors down I would love to try it out.

Ha, thanks man!
I will try these later today, it's been some time since I've run one of your configs, I've missed them!

Most of the time I just dropped in your enbeffect.fx and fiddled with my settings until I had it somewhat under control.. which included some crazy brightness parameter changes.
I remember your stuff needing 0.05 or 20.0somethingplus values on the brightness, I always had fun taking it apart and making it work. :)

Here's an example:

Without

Sun looks ok with the palette, but without it doesn't seem to blend properly even when I compensate for the slightly darker image overall. Changing the intensities just makes that white UFO-shaped spot grow or shrink, but I can't get it to blend nicely like the first image. It also seems to take on a bluish tint.
