Re: TES Skyrim
Thanks! Most of the credit for that goes to the people making the grasses and trees though. 32cm, Josh Ezzell, etc..tapioks wrote:@Confidence Man
Your images look closer to photography than anything else I've seen for Skyrim. Even the simplest subjects are a delight to look at.

Re: TES Skyrim
Need advises and helps here~~~~~~~~~
Can somebody please recommends some "darkened" textures to replace the tundra area texture like the following circled one (that quite bright yellow grass, even I decrease the directlight under 1 it still looks kinda fake and popped up); btw, I have already tried Tamriel Reloaded, still looks too bright in my case, haven't tried SFO2.0 yet, should I give it a go?->
Or some texture packs recommended by modders would be great, appreciate you guys' help first.

SFO is always worth a try, but i'm pretty unsure about that this will fix your special grass, i use in my setup Unique Grasses in combination with SFO

Re: TES Skyrim
I just made my own grass for that specific one and use that. There is a modders ressource for grass on the nexus you can use as a base.. then it is simply a matter of copy pasting layers in gimp or photoshop, and then alter the colors and brightness to your liking.
Alternatively if you got the patience and skill you can make your own grass texture from the ground up, or based on images you take or find yourself... but it is one of the more annoying textures to create due to the very sensitive alpha channel.

I personally like Regular 191 and Summer 181 more. 2.0 removes some trees and flowers, it also has some annoying bugs. And i believe it won't fix your problem. If you can upload the specific texture i can make it darker for you.
