If you use TES5Edit, maybe just in case of modcleaning or any other reason, you could look for an backup of your esp, maybe it's already there but under different extension (.the date+time of the file) i've using a different folder for this backup-function of TES5Edit and you could check your temp-folders too, also possible is it to recover the files via filerecovery if you dont made a defrag on the HDD there your game is installed, but this is the last step and of very low chance.T.A.Z wrote:...overwriting the actual .esp in my directory. Now because I thought the backup I had would be the newest version of my .esp, when in fact it was not I'm left here with a version that is almost 6 months old.
Two things learned from this: Double check uploaded files, tripple check your backups.
Allready tried to restore the file in many different ways, but no luck. But it's actually not that bad, I think I'll just start with a completely new preset. I have a couple of ideas of how I can streamline the weather making process so that it shouldn't take as much time as it did with my last esp and the ini editing process is now much easier aswell with the ingame editor compared to what it used to be.
