Whenever I load up a savegame in Skyrim with an old ENB binary and settings I get a CTD on loading the save. New ENBs do not crash it (231 and up).
Also I believe the game crashes without any ENB loaded as well, which is strange. There must be some new setting that newer ENBs have that older ones don't that Skyrim needs to function?
Yes I can confirm the save crashes without an ENB loaded. Anyone know the cause to this?
Edit: A new save with the same mods installed in the same load order does not crash with earlier enbs/without enbs.
Earlier ENBs crashes my game, new ones do not.

ENBoost enabled in new versions and game saved data with much more memory used which it can't handle without ENBoost.
