If you're running the latest version of SKSE and have the memory patch activated and you get a random CTD but you aren't hitting your limits on either block in MemoryBlocksLog.log, what can be deduced from this?
Is it possible to rule out certain kinds of causes like texture mods or memory leaks?

Three possibilities:
1) you need a ENBoost shot
2) you're running some buggy mods
3) your hardware is failing

hello there! this is my first post... i hope i am posting to the right thread!?
even though i have been using SKSE 1.6.16 since its release...i am unable to launch skyrim with SKSE 1.70 or 1.7.1 or even the 1.7.2 beta version...(i have tried them all and failed)
the game seems to launch fine but imidietly kills itself to desktop before it finishes loading..

Either your RaceMenu is old, or you don't need showRaceMenu_preCacheKiller.dll(it's built into nioverride or chargen in current RaceMenu versions).
hdtPapyrusExtensions.dll is probably very outdated too. It comes from one of the hdtHighHeel alpha versions.
SafetyLoad is not required anymore i believe.
What's in your papyrus?
StorageUtil.save in plugins directory can sometimes prevent game from starting properly. Try moving it somewhere and test.

wow that actually did it!
removing the racemenu precachekiller.dll did it!!! i also removen the hdtPapyrusExtensions.dll at the same time so it is either the one or the other

Apparently skyrim keeps randomly ctd at all possible places. Just got one.

From what i experienced, SSME is more reliable then the SKSE integrated one. No idea why.
