Hello everyone,
My trouble is,If I set ExpandSystemMemoryX64ORReduceSystemMemoryUsage IN true ,then the game must got CTD after load a save(open air)、start a new game or Came to the open air。
It is strange that These conditions only appears in the latest V0.265 d3d9.dll
the V0.264 d3d9.dll is no problem
Ihave 8GB RAM and My Graphics card is GTX970 with the latest 347.25 Driver
this is my [MEMORY] seting
[MEMORY]
ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
DisableDriverMemoryManager=false
DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
ReservedMemorySizeMb=256
VideoMemorySizeMb=6144
EnableCompression=true
AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false
And I set UseEffect=false i do not use any Effects or Presets
what is the difference between V0.265 and V0.264 Can cause this issues on me?
always get CTD with v0.265[solved]

This is your PC specific issue, because only few players reported similar issues and nobody said how they fixed it (and fixed at all or not). I did no changes which may produce CTD. Look for other things changed, mods, drivers, software, antivirus update, etc.

solved!
I download and copy the enbhelper.dll file to the Skyrim/enbseries directory,then Everything's okay now.
so the v0.265 in Skyrim required enbhelper.dll?

No, it doesn't.
Could be something in enbseries.ini causing the crash I guess, but hard to say for sure.

i dont know why it crashes but you VRAM is NOT 8gb system ram. your 970 have 4gb vram, but may change it to ViderMemorySize=3584 because only 3,5gb are fast vram, the other 0,5gb vram are slower than system ramkchati wrote:

Re: always get CTD with v0.265[solved]
I started to notice people having gtx970's and crashing with FixParallaxTerrain=true option like me Anyone beg to differ ?
Although i could swore i managed to launch ParallaxTerrain option, think it was before i updated my nVidia Driver or changed something in my nVidia CP.
EDIT: Setting ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false actually worked for me, now i can use terrain paralax, had crashes due to using SKSE mem feature. Just had to research a bit more to find out which is better.
