ENB boost is eating 60% of my GPU power

Okay, I figured it out. I downloaded CTB and ENboost from nexus, downloaded latest 266 libraries, changed ReduceSystemMemoryUsage to false and now it's working like a charm. I almost tried borderless windowed, but it changed nothing. Thanks for help, I hope I won't get any crashes, you are doing wonderfull work, thanks!

All complains are bullshit, code changes do not affect performance in wrong way anyhow. Think yourself, how in the heck it can be slower if i reduced video memory usage by deleting internal surfaces? Do you believe if feel comfortable reading all these? You are not the first one who wrote about lower performance and solution was to modify amount of vram size in enblocal.ini, even if it's unlogical from hardware viewpoint.

which version of EBN has ENBoost and is most stable?

All the same, 262, 265, 266 - exactly the same, absolutely the same, byte by byte.


Last thing which may help to find culprit. Download VMMap from ms web site, run the game, load that area where fps is 20 instead of 50 with ENBoost only enabled and with VMMap open process enbhost.exe and check how many memory it use. If less than 150mb, it's not work at all (antivirus, crapware or OS).

This disables 99% of ENBoost, you don't need it at all then.

I don't mean to be rude, I appreciate you for what you are doing for community, I've been using enb from almost the beggining, then I stopped playing video games and returned to it recently. Here is screenshot from Vmmap, I don't know how to read it.

It works properly, so not the issue of antivirus or something like that. There is another way to test, may be win10 have poor performance of memory sharing between processes (if you don't have antivirus of course). Delete temporary enbhost.exe from game folder, then mod will try to use internal game memory (and ctd will happen after some time), but at least this will help to check if it's cross process issue of OS or not.

I don't use antivirus. I deleted enbhost, it said that it's missing, but games runs exactly the same, nothing changed

Try then increase VideoMemorySizeMb like following: 1700, 2000, 2300, 2700, 3300 with these setting:

Ok, so I tried firs step, adding more memory to VideoMemorySizeMb up to 3300, that did absolutely nothing, fps was same, 15-20.

Then I tried second step and now it's fine. Game runs at 55 fps with these settings where it previously was 20 fps. But there is some catch using these settings, right?

Also I did it with enbhost.exe with folder, was that right?

enbhost must be in game folder. Anyway, try attached version, it's the last build of 0.265. I forgot about one thing - all changes of 0.266 are made for ENBSeries, they are not executed as code when ENBoost only enabled, so it's just wasting of time trying to figure out wtf it work slower from side of logic. But i want to know what the heck is going on, so please do not leave.
