Welcome david
The very first thing that comes to mind would be to suggest that you try to lower the amount of sharpening or its threshold.
That much sharpen along with the rather high contrast really make things hard on the eyes.
My suggestion would be to try to find the amount of contrast, and overall color balance you like before applying any sharpen. Then return later and apply it bit by bit and readjust contrasts/tonemapping to follow suit.

Re: TES Skyrim
Very nice compilation of mods. I recognize realistic hd food, Embers HD, rustic pottery(not sure) and others.
If it doesn't interfere with your lightning mods, I would suggest immersive interiors.(Sorry if I have already) No critic here, I just really like your screens.
What kind of antialiasing do you use, or just plain downsampling?
I'm uploading whiterun\woodfloorint right now, it should improve those kinda dull wood parts directly beneath the windows.
Makes sense that a woodfloor is used for walls and windows ^^ welcome to bethesda. jk.

Re: TES Skyrim
Thanks Pfuscher, criticism always welcome
I did try Immersive Interiors when it was released, can't remember why I didn't keep it - will have to give it another try..
I use SMAA as well, but with this much downsampling I don't think it makes much difference - Lanczos scaling helps too to keep the sharpness
