I could use some help. I can't figure out why I can't use enb with Stalker. As soon as I place the d3d9.dll file in the bin folder, the game immediately crashes when I try to start it up. I get this error code: XR_3DA.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION

I am running the GOG version of the game, not steam. I have also not used any mods whatsoever.

Just looking for ideas because I am out.\

Just dont use GoG . use the original version with crack .Or buy in steam)

Issue solved for my above post. If you have the GOG version of the game, try running the game through the Settings.exe located in the main Stalker SoC folder. Once the window opens up, just click on "Save and Launch". The game should start with the enb enabled. Hope that helps someone!

How do people enable AO for STALKER SHoC with ENB? I use Autumn Aurora 2.1 and it does not seem to use SSAO at all. All other effects work... Are there any other ways to make ENB for Autumn Aurora provide even better / higher quality image? Are there mods with better graphics?

Also, could Brussell post his ENBSeries config, please???

It was posted somewhere in the first pages, with the bunch of screenshots. I downloaded it few months ago, don't know if dl link is still alive though.

Enabling AO in NVidia CP does not work in STALKER SHoC at all. There specific games on which NVidia AO (HBAO+) works. What I also found is that OLDER ENB for STALKER contained lines for SSAO, but the latest ENB did not. Maybe I can just ADD SSAO settings to the latest ENB?

I tried adding "EnableOcclusions=true" and tried "EnableOcclusion=1" under "[EFFECT]" and then adding [SSAO] lines, but that did not work because when I pressed SHIFT+ENTER during gameplay, the "EnableOcclusion" line was missing under "[EFFECT]" and so did "[SSAO]" lines...

STALKER COMPLETE 2009 (2012) mod adds SSAO. I wonder if there is a way to combine it with Autumn Aurora to get SSAO effect...
