ScreenScaleY is aspect ratio, Width/Height.
SkyrimTuner
I've asked two players about their skyrimprefs.ini and they refused to give it to me, so i can't find out which setting produce bug with zprepass.
Folks, i can't reply frequently now, got another set of life issues which drive me crazy.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.266
Boris
i think there is nothing wrong with EnableZPrepass, it works fine but if there are a kind of conflicting textures/meshes you will recognize it.
for example, i'm only getting this issue if using Verdant Grass + Skyrim 2015 Parallax Terrain SPT. Some kind of stones conflicting with grass or trees?
it also depends on viewing angle.
It doesn't matter if FixParallaxTerrain=true or false
my SkyrimPrefs:

my enblocal.ini:

I don't know what's the culprit but it appeared only when I activate Vivid Landscape all in one. Tried the both the BSA and the loose files, no difference.
I put Vivid Landscapes after all my other Texture mods.
These are the only messed up textures I have encountered so far, the rest looks absolutely stunning. Also other roots are just fine like here:

I first suspected Vivid Landscapes because it doesn't happen with Skyrim HD 2K only but it could also have something to do with Parallax because Vivid Landscapes uses it and it seems to affect things attached to rocks?
I hope somebody can guide me further.
I use the newest version of Realvision ENB medium version with FixParallaxBugs=true and FixParallaxTerrain=true
Relevant texture mods I use are.
Bethesda High resolution DLC
Moss Rocks
Better Dynamic Snow
SMIM
SkyrimHD 2K light
SFO 1.86 + Verdant
Vivid Landscapes All in one (loose files)

Disabling EnableZPrepass fixed this issue for him.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.266
I think better not bother Boris with this and try with default skyrim.ini / skyrimprefs.ini using only normal ENB download (not custom preset) and see if you can reproduce the error. That first. If that is error free then issue on your end. Very likely problem is on user end because technically can't be something wrong with doing a check to draw or not based on if pixel can be seen or not unless user modify something he/she shouldn't. Lots of people use Ewi's ini files and Boris already once wrote those files aren't good (no offense to Ewi, as nobody really understand what all those settings do and people simply go by "visual observation" without regards to what is happening in the engine).
I simply disabled ZPrePass, because I am not hunting 1-0.5 FPS more anyway, and I don't have the energy to go and troubleshoot it for myself.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.266
i use a lot of prods shaders (not all of the current though) and also tweaked inis, and i have never seen that bug.
maybe that helps... that means, the chances are best that the culprit is in the inis.
maybe just go to http://pastebin.com/ put your inis up and post them here, then you can even compare yourselves and look for similarities, that may be the cause.

@Boris:
This says it fixes the problem I was explaining a few weeks ago with the alpha of terrain parallax.
(yes terrain parallax uses the alpha channel)

I'm not using EWIs ini-files, i've used the ini-settings Boris posted here and also new default ini-files created freshly by Skyrimlauncher.
same result.
this is using default ini-files and ENBSeries 0.266 original files, no custom preset:
there is no botheration intended but if there is a problem if EnableZPrepass=true it should be verified. it's to help making ENBSeries better and
working for everyone. i'm sure Boris has no problem with getting input and feedback.
Boris
...there is no hurry at all, the workaround (EnableZPrepass=false) is fixing these issues atm, i will continue testing what exactly is causing these problems.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.266
Boris, I have a question. Have installed latest ENBSeries on a clean Skyrim installation besides "Realistic Lightning" mod.
Is it possible to increase brightness anyhow?
