Re: TES Skyrim

It's hard to say how my framerate is going to be as I just rebuilt my load order recently. With my previous load order I was getting a pretty consistent (and rather low but that's the price of quality) 30ish most everywhere, even most interiors. Whiterun and the Rift hit the hardest, dipping down to about 20 (lots of grass). Falkreath and Hjaalmarch were probably the best, consistently staying over 30, sometimes up to 40 or so.

Great pics everyone. I probably won't be posting any pics soon as Pillars of Eternity has stolen my heart. For the first time in a long time, I like the Alduin pics on this page! I'm so tired of that guy but those pics look good! :)

It's gonna vary as the vid card is just one part of the whole memory situation. I'd say for you anywhere between 128-512 will be your sweet spot, just gotta find it. 768 seems like an awful lot for a card with 3-4GB+ of VRAM. Fortunately, you can adjust it in game in the GUI and see how things work. Of course, I don't have a 970 so my suggestions are based upon the rules, not experience with that card.
