Re: TES Skyrim 0.269
I will not do anything to fps limiter any more. I don't care, it's not my bug and not my problem, code is simple like 2+2=4.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.269
Oh I don't use it anyway.
Just reporting the FPS counter flickering, for you to know that the 3 versions you uploaded were behaving the same about this.
Nevermind.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.269
Running 2 EGVA Geforce Titan X in SLI mode and I installed the newest v.269 of ENB now. I just use the VSync in the enblocal.ini, no fps limiter.
So my settings are:
[ENGINE]
ForceAnisotropicFiltering=true
MaxAnisotropy=16
ForceLodBias=true
LodBias=-0.75
EnableVSync=true
VSyncSkipNumFrames=0
AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=false
[LIMITER]
WaitBusyRenderer=false
EnableFPSLimit=false
FPSLimit=60.0
In addition I have set ipresentintaval=1 in my Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini (not sure if I should do that at all, but otherwise me seems the Vsync will not kick in although it's enabled in enblocal.ini)
With the latest version of ENB v269 I have some sort of flickering fps counter. It seems to show fps counts and their changes ultrafast. I don't watch any "1000fps" count, but it's changing between ~20 and ~70 ultrafast.
EDIT: I now tried the same settings as above but with:
[LIMITER]
WaitBusyRenderer=false
EnableFPSLimit=true
FPSLimit=60.0
...and it seems to work flawlessly. The flickering and ultrafast fps counts seem to vanish almost totally and the fps counter shows solid and pretty stable 60,2 fps.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.269
Even worse, now using unsafe memory hacks just leads to black screen with 1.2 fps and then crash in 5 seconds (though you can play the game during that time). Of course, the version from 6 may 2015 works. wtf have you done?ENBSeries wrote:Version updated, download again
Again changes to fps limiter, the last time, i promise, if not works, enough bother with it, it's fine on my side anyway
Added profiler string to display memory available for ENBoost, it works only when AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true is set

I did nothing, except things written in changes, so no idea what to modify.

May be you looking on to different frame rate counter? That one in the left top corner displays real frame rate and game have some frames very short (guess sli/crossfire do things even worse). Frame rate in editor window shows smooth 10 frame interplolated frame rate and must be used for performance testing while tweaking parameters. Do i need to make all counters smooth or what?

Re: TES Skyrim 0.269
The frame rate counter in the editor window shows every single fps change in the same way as the one in the top left corner, but hey, I can live with the fluttering. All I can say is, that the fps limiter works for me, it never exceeds the 60,2 fps max, no matter if I enter the game menu, map menu, ENB GUI or tab out of the game and return again.ENBSeries wrote:JF049

Re: TES Skyrim 0.269
I get the best result, when limiting FPS via nvidia inspector. ENBs FPS limiter bugged for me, with sli enabled or not didn't matter.
limited to 58 via inspector and it runs super smooth compared to unlimited, even-though I use a 144 monitor.

Re: TES Skyrim 0.269
Guys, average fps in editor have the following math:
If you can find the bug, why fps do not look smooth, i'll change it, ok?
Code: Select all
frametimepassed=currentframetime - lastframetime;
m_averageframetime=(frametimepassed * 0.1f) + (m_averageframetime * 0.9f);
AverageFPS=1.0/m_averageframetime;
//m_averageframetime is global variable for accumulation

That has to be this. Counter in editor is OK.ENBSeries wrote: May be you looking on to different frame rate counter?
