Yeah precisely. I find it difficult to categorise TW3 as an RPG because of the inability to actually play different roles in the plot. I might be on thin ice here, but I see TW3 as an action adventure set in an RPG world. Sure there are some RPG elements in there like crafting, skill trees etc. But does that makes TW3 qualify as an RPG?
I might be on even thinner ice here (loosing metaphors here lol) but I find it easier to compare the game to, say AC Black Flag than other RPGs, with the graphics of Red Dead Redemption.

I'm in Germany for a few days on vacation, but I can't wait to play as Geralt again.

Btw. The recent "cutscene lighting vs Vanilla" comparison has gotten me even more dedicated to an ENB profile.

In W3 you are stuck being Geralt. No ifs, ands, or buts. In Skyrim you can be anyone you want to be and mods really support that. Skyrim has lasted so long as it was built with modding, open world, and open characters in mind. W3 less so. Large world and much to see and do but more limited in modding from what I heard and there is only Geralt. So while a super awesome game I personally think is incredible and fun ... I will only play once. Why repeat the content with the same character after all. Multiple endings only take people so far. Possible a second play through but it seems to lack the incentive an drive that games like morrowind, oblivio, and skyrim offer.
i agreed with you on lack of modding for W3 but I completely disagree on gameplay. Elder scrolls series are good on modding cause Bugthesda gave the devkit to people. As for the story lines, it's a fking joke. You can't even compare elder scrolls gameplay or story lines to Witcher series, not even fking close. Well on a good note CDProjekt are release Redkit to people soon. We'll wait and see what modders come up with. Why repeating the same character ? well Witcher is about Geralt aka the witcher.

what you meant to say is lack of mods for you to screenshots or tits and ass mods?

I will not modify Witcher 3, because found out game shaders are hardly editable, like UE ones where you must find all possible shaders combinations only experimenting with all graphic options possible, weathers, locations, etc. No thanks.

PS: and stop commenting this, the situation is clear.
