Re: GTA V
I gotta agree... it looks pretty flat. Maybe it looks fine in game but something about how the screenshots turned out... And my monitor is calibrated.
A perfect example is the church in the second image. The steeples look like they're made of plastic and as you go down the walls look more like some sort of model foam. The stairs leading up to the church door lack definition... a bit like an image that has no AO. Not exactly, but that sort of "feel" if that makes sense. The cars look great, IMO... especially (and obviously) that first shot.
Anyways, that's all I'm gonna say. I don't even actually own the game, just making observations on what I see. Take it for what it is... others likely have other points of view.

Anything that's a bright color, it's saturated. Other than that, not bad.YourFather wrote:Watch my gameplay video and tell me what you guys think of it

Re: GTA V
Screenshot of game vanilla ambient occlusion at highest quality of it (ignore edges, they are in different shader). Probably this can be achieved with lowest quality and sizescale of ENBSeries

Re: GTA V
Is this HBAO or default igame SSAO? hbao also seems to be very low res, flickering is easilty seen - very bad for cloudy and rainy weathers with little amount of direct sunlight and with bright shadows. SSIL is also badly needed
HBAO settings files seems to be doing nothing, except for stronger darkening, quality seems to be unchanged. Nvidias technological demos showed better quality HBAO, why the hell did they use this low quality type in GTA 5?

Re: GTA V
I don't see hbao setting in the game, so it's what in video options (just increased it contrast as pow(ssao, 4.0) to make it visible).

Re: GTA V
Cause if they fully uses Nvidia tech, AMD would cry? loldpeasant wrote:Is this HBAO or default igame SSAO? hbao also seems to be very low res, flickering is easilty seen - very bad for cloudy and rainy weathers with little amount of direct sunlight and with bright shadows. SSIL is also badly needed

On a serious note, SSIL would make this game amazing.
