Same result on/offScarecrow wrote:Surface Format Optimization used to cause glitches in some games.
You should start with it.
It just decrease tessellation when it needs, for low and mid-end videocards like mine (6950 2GB) it is a really helpfull on games with abnormal tessellation levels.Scarecrow wrote:I have no idea if GTA V make heavy use of tessellation, but try to disable the "AMD Optimized" and see what happens.
Nothing good can come out of something optimized by AMD, lol
I did it when I had old S.O. and old drivers and was not the issue, now I have W10 clean install + latest drivers 15.7.1.Scarecrow wrote:A clean install of the driver using DDU may help you as well.
Thanks for your kind comment and your time, but honestly I don't think this have a fix other than in Boris hands, if you take a look at the people with the same problem 0.270 were working for everybody so definitely something is broken, maybe just with "older" specific videocard models, don't know :?Scarecrow wrote:P.S: Just trying to help you, I don't even have GTAV to test it.
I do have a R9 280X.
Thanks, just like I thought.robi29 wrote:I've got the same settings and for me everything works very well.

Re: GTA 5 0.275
The one provided in your package? Yes sure.
0.270 comes without it and works fine, should I try 0.275 withtout it?

271 OK (with and without d3dcompiler_46e.dll)
271_3 OK (with and without d3dcompiler_46e.dll)
272 NO (with and without d3dcompiler_46e.dll)
273 NO (with and without d3dcompiler_46e.dll)
I also changed "Variable 1" from 0 to 10 but nothing changed

Re: GTA 5 0.275
0.272 have too many changes, there is no way to find what is wrong via trials and errors at the forum. Also i remember that you abandoned testing some time ago. That's all, i'm not going to fix anything or develop for gta.

Yeah, schedule & time zone are a problem to do it in real time.
But if your don't have any plans for develop gta5 then there's no hurry, we can test anything you can put in the forum.

Re: GTA 5 0.275
This is impossible. Even with not that much changes i had several days wasted for making tests via forum. Now i cannot remember what could be the reason of issue, for old version and the mod code in general. When i developed those versions, amd users cried from huge performance loss and i did workaround against extremely slow driver code, but this time some folks having fun with white buildings. Sorry, but with about zero popularity of the mod i'm not going to do any fixes, it's half month of testing, there is no way to replace old code by new, almost all project files have lot of radical changes.

Re: GTA 5 0.275
What are your specs buzz? Maybe try a fresh install of windows?
None of my friends with AMD cards reported any issues with the mod :|
I also don't have any issues what so ever but I guess that's irrelevant as I have an NVIDIA GPU
