Bonnie Lass
It will not change anything (except longer loading times), because swap file and game files may not be at same drive and you need to put swap to HDD (pagefile.sys).

Please test attached file, it have two new bug fixes, but not sure if they not cause any bugs with different resolutions (downscaling via drivers too), toggling fullscreen/windowed mode. They are active only when ApplyStabilityPatch=true is set. Also one of these should fix ENB hud on the character face.

EDIT: file deleted after test

Sorry for the late reply.

Limit the fps to a low value (30fps is what I use), then try facing a wall and moving left for five seconds, then right for five seconds; should make the stutter very visible, as it appears as a hitch every couple of seconds.

Now set iFPSClamp=30 in Fallout4.ini under [General], and do the same thing again. You'll find that the game is smoother, and the hitching is gone.

Tried to record, but recording gets rid of the stutter (have no fucking clue why) whilst destroying my fps outdoors. Found a video that shows it in New Vegas: https://youtu.be/MIs-C2X-hdU?t=51

Try comparing: iFPSClamp=30 @ 30fps, then remove iFPSClamp & use your high precision timer @ 30fps.

Edit: Also, there's a bug with the ENB GUI when using 1280x1024; the mouse only goes up 2/3rds of the screen, making the upper half of the GUI inaccessible. Don't have this issue with Oblivion, New Vegas nor Skyrim.

So in order to keep my SSD safe, I should be doing this, right?

Yikes - I tried this out and my fps dove to 15 fps just on the opening screen, before I load any game.

Windows 10x64, GTX 660, Windowed Borderless, 1920x1080.

Edit: Weird, I tried it a second time and there were no frame drops. That first time may have just been a fluke, maybe my computer was busy with something else. I'll let you know if anything weird happens again.

This isn't ENB's fault, you have to get to a point in the game that allows you to use your cursor, like your pipboy. Then you can use the GUI. Fallout 4 tries to keep your mouse pointer anchored near the center when the cursor is hidden.

Test file seems to be working ok, not sure what it does but no crashes or FPS drops up to now.

Win 10 64, GTX970, SSD, 16gb ram.

Aye, if you open up the console, the mouse isn't buggered.

Weird.

You can open the console, you can open your pipboy, you can hit escape, basically anything that would give you a cursor.

They're just trying to keep your cursor from falling out of the window when you're controlling your character.
