But if ENB adds in IBL or similar, it would become quite redundant.
I wonder, can you control the intensity or power of the fake lighting with that console command? Maybe if it were more subtle...

Ya, I understand it would be 'replaced' by true IBL, though it may still be a useful feature fur users with slower machines who may choose not to use IBL (if and when that effect becomes available)?

Re: Fallout 4 0.283 ENBoost
I'd just like to report that I downloaded and installed the latest amd crimson beta drivers coz' their website claimed they were Fallout 4 optimised.
Surprisingly, they were right. Framerate is up, lag is down. New Vegas is also way better, even with DisableDriverMemoryManager=false. Haven't tried Skyrim yet.

This makes installing them quite tempting.. Does it fix the issues with the GPU running hot? About how many frames have you gained? I am running the AMD R9 290 series and there are apparently some issues with those cards.Dazaster wrote:I'd just like to report that I downloaded and installed the latest amd crimson beta drivers coz' their website claimed they were Fallout 4 optimised.

Here is the AMD Radeon official Twitter admitting the drivers cause GPU fans to turn off and burning out people's cards. Here's a reddit thread with tons of info on it. I wouldn't use the new Crimson updates for awhile with how messed up they are. This driver update is so bad it's killing GPUs.

Re: Fallout 4 0.283 ENBoost
I hope ENB will include WATER tweaks because Fallout 4's water lacks reflections, refractions, and other effects even Vanilla Skyrim had...

Re: Fallout 4 0.283 ENBoost
I get a lot of requests for this on my Simple Bug Fixes mod, Boris, I'm wondering if you could possibly address it.
AFAIK the beta patch didn't address this bug, so a fix is pretty far away.
Supposedly it's caused by the game not pre-fetching the weapon models/textures, and even unloading them aggressively. When i switch weapons, there may occur a 2-3 seconds pause between holstering one gun and pulling out another. This happens mostly while in combat and can be quite punishing, especially in close quarters.

@cruelflames - If AMD spends over a week pretending there is no issue, and then releases a hot patch to fix fans turning off and burning out cards, what makes you think the rest of the driver are A-ok and not damaging? I think you're gambling with your GPU with those terrible drivers, but that's just me. I'd let AMD work out the bugs in their terrible reskin of CCC before I'll run it on my Tri-x. Again though, that's just me, and I can't afford a crappy driver update taking out my GPU.
