Re: Fallout 4

Here's an update on my Nuka Cola machine retexture. I decided to give the machine a white 'hood' and 'feet', as the object feels almost TOO red by default...

EDIT: Now have a video too!

nope i'm using one of the latest 1.0 or 1.1. However instead of stock shader framework, that is almost impossible to edit or optimize, i had to create my own shader, based on euda ppfx material. I've cut almost everything away, and now i have stable and fast basis.
I'll share as soon as i finish some stuff.
currently I have:
-source linearisation
-ssdo
-bloom
-custom tonemap (bloom makes image hdr)
-3d lut

interiors have 0.5 fps impact, yet outdoors have huge 5-10 fps drop. working on optimisations atm

Understood. Im using older version(which only features a single Reshade.fx file), as it seems to give more fps with the same shaders enabled, almost 2-3 fps overall, this is probably due to the heavy default framework.

Tapioks

Looks great, but I think you should redo the glass. The deep crevices makes it look like plastic or painted metal. I personally use Quixel Suite's PBR materials and work from there, it's a great starting point.

@ChaosDuck

Thanks for the feedback! I think I should be able to fix the deep crevices by adjusting my height map for the screen, make them more narrow and shallow ... we'll see how it goes!

Re: Fallout 4

Slowly switching to ENB, but as my coding skills are practically non-existent, I still have to rely on Re-shade shaders for now. I'll be doing most of the luminosity corrections / tonemapping in ENB, I think. Also, neutral LUTs for the win ! Re-shade is doing the slight hue tinkering, sharpen, SMAA, DoF, etc...

Kobalk
Superb lighting you've got there. I'm jealous :p
