Re: Dragon's Dogma 0.295
Uh, found what's the problem with long loading screens, thanks for fellow programmer for an idea. It's because other game threads eat cpu time and slowing down thread which creating shaders. Manually forcing thread to be on different cpu core makes shaders creation fast, but because thread is still on that core, loading other game data became much longer. It's a tricky.

Already doing ng+, still didnt visit that bitterback island, need to be around lvl 60 or more. The game is very long, if you consider all the grinding, item collecting(those goddamn golden idols) and farming to get the best gear. ENB will be long completed when ill reach even lvl 150, lol.

Re: Dragon's Dogma 0.295
anyone infos if SLI works? (can be switch on in ini) i found info saying it doesnt utilize the second card much. CPU Multicore scaling seems to work nicely though.

Re: Dragon's Dogma 0.295
Fixed longer loading screens by forcing rendering thread to sleep if shaders are spawning by the game, seems work okay. Will be available in next update. Atm i want to check skylighting implementation and detailed shadows, if possible to develop fast.

Good to hear the loading is fixed.
Looking forward to the next update, these loading screens are killing me

Re: Dragon's Dogma 0.295
Light touch of Ambient Occlusion makes a real difference to the look of this game. Thank you so much for putting this out.
Do you think it's possible to disable the shadows (constant, round) that appear at the player character's feet? It might be a texture, but I'm not sure. I just think it's a super distracting element considering no NPCs cast shadows beneath the same kind of shadows beneath their feet. Plus, it looks like something that belongs to World of Warcraft from 8 years ago. Here's a picture of it.
Note the thick shadows beneath the player, and then the lack of the same effect under the NPC's feet in the upper half of the image. It's not tied to Ambient Occlusion - it appears even with ENB off. AO is enabled in the screenshot.
Also, is color correction with enbpalettes supposed to work with the current version?
