Landed on a SSAO profile I like. AOType=1, FilterType=4, and AOMixingType=2 gave me what I thought was the most nuanced and graduated look to SSAO. All I have to do is check the AOMixingTypeInterior= and I can lay my ocd to rest. EDIT: turns out AOMixingType= controls both.
Do you guys tweak SSAO much? I've seen it mentioned before, but screen resolution really is the single biggest deciding factor into the performance hit SSAO gives. No matter what I did, that remained the best way to mitigate the hit. There also seem to be a massive leap in FilterQuality= between Very Low and Low, more than the name would imply anyways.
In your guys' presets, does SSAO tend to be the biggest hit to performance?

Re: Dragon's Dogma
to be honest, the differences between AO filters etc IMO are so small I can't even see them. The only thing I notice is when I increase the amounts of AO.

Hey guys, help me.
Where the hell I can find the interiors ( I mean - interior factor ( output ) =1.0, in the statistic ). I'm in Gran Soren right now and haven't met any yet

Dawn in Gran Soren
@Guzio I think there is an interior by the pawn's guild. IIRC the basement (or whatever it is) used some interior values.

Those catacombs in cult investigation quest (shortly after arriving in Gran Soren) are interior also.

Guzio
Interiors where previously only for scene like prologue, but with 0.298 i also added caves/catacombs which found without playing much.
Ssao filter types are very different by result, but that difference is only visible when 3d filter is disabled and on bumpy surfaces like bricks. But 3d filter is the best filter type (and slowest), so better to use it with low-lowest options for filter quality (which means number of passes).

Re: Dragon's Dogma
Some shots of feature i'm trying to implement - automatic ambient color setup. Unfortunately it's tricky with wrong weather setting by the game.
