Re: TES Skyrim

Guys, what are you using as Anti Aliasing beside the option in ENB? I see almost all have so smooth screens, is that with AA or 4k? I used to have Temporal Anti Aliasing but it does some weird glitches, thats why I'm looking for something else beside 4k res.

Re: TES Skyrim

And one more question, I'm using opethfeld enb.
And with its preset the grass looks very blured and weird, here is the example (or maybe I instaled something worng)

I tried to disable the bShadowsOnGrass=1 in skyrimprefs.ini, but now the screen have some grey stripes, its hard to see on the screenshots because they are more visible when moving the camera

So, how can I fix the weird shadows on grass, or how can I fix the stripes?
Thanks!

Re: TES Skyrim

Diablo_rf under Shadow section in enbserise.ini check is this UseBilateralShadowFilter=true, maybe it will help.

Most of my shots are taken with 1440x900 max, in some of them (few) TAA is on.

Re: TES Skyrim

Diablo_rf

Higher resolution is what makes Skyrim look much sharper. It really does wonders in Skyrim. When looking at the screenshots or in game, image quality between 1080p(Full HD) and 2160p(Ultra HD) or even higher resolutions is huge. I cant even look at 1080p Skyrim because i am used to looking at 4k or higher resolution...
I use GeDoSaTo for downsampling and i suggest you to try it. My recent shots I regularly post on Flickr are downsampled from 5K/UHD+ (5120x2880) to 1080p resolution and i am really satisfied with the sharpness and overall image quality.

You haven't fiddled with the iBlurDeferredShadowMask setting in SkyrimPrefs.ini, have you? Default is 3.

In any case it's a good idea to restore default files (back up yours first) for testing.

Re: TES Skyrim

Just my 5 cents. Playing at 4k compared to 2k do not eliminate aliasing artifacts, some folks here long time ago did that and i forgot who was that, but keeping this info in memory to say once. Downsampling/supersampling/antialiasing is always superior compared to any huge resolution, this is specifics of 3d rendering.
