Oh yeah, it's enabled by default? I would advise never having it enabled, instead use the tools (found in the Spells menu) only when and where appropriate.
I've also found out that the latest versions can sometimes corrupt a nif when saving, especially skinned meshes, so for most stuff it's better to stick with 1.X versions.

NHK
I would not suggest using the Nifskope 2 alpha to save files. I have seen it corrupt and destroy meshes on save due to crashing. That's why it's called an alpha. Use the latest stable version to save meshes.
Nifskope 2 alpha is good for checking meshes with shaders and a few other things but it's not reliable enough to save your work with this tool, particularly if you've spent time on it.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
Hello again,
I have an installation question:
I see in my MO that some other mods get overwriten by your patches, mainly SMIM and ELFX files. Would you please tell me wich ones should take priority?
Thanks!

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
I honestly don't know. I don't use either but at least at some point I heard that both SMIM and ELFX included most of the fixes from the patch. Since not overwriting the patch files might jeopardize the functionality of the mod (any mod really, not just those two) I guess you can let other mods overwrite the files from the patch and later on if you spot something awry take a closer look (or ask here). Generally speaking the patch is made for vanilla game and it's up to mod creators to choose whether they use the vanilla meshes or mine, of course given that they're aware of the existence of the patch.

Hi Mindflux!
i reported some months ago a problem with your mod. I double checked, and it turned out to be related to your modifications.
Inside Dragonsreach, in the main hall, there's the light coming from one of the two big rounded windows on the roof, that is bright (like if it was daytime), even during night time.
Please fix this, cause it's pretty annoying imo
Thank you!

Thanks! I made some changes, hopefully it will help. For window beams and stuff like that your particle intensity for night-time should be lower than for day, but of course it means that the intensity of all kinds of particle effects like smoke will get lower, so it's it's impossible to make everything perfect unless you'd modify the effects for each preset separately.

Yeah, I did a silent update because the change was small and most users wouldn't care anyway. Obviously not referring to you

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
Sorry if this has been asked, but I don't have time to search through 60+ pages and the search function isn't very good.
Is there benefit to using the the Particle Patch without an ENB installed? I'm assuming many of the benefits will be the same like the less to no glow of the water foam at night, but I wanted to be sure.
Also, are all these vanilla meshes or is SMIM used where appropriate?
