Doesn't SMIM do SSS too or no?

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
I'm not familiar with SMIM at its current state but I don't think so - at least originally SMIM was a mesh improvement mod aiming to make various objects more detailed by increasing their polycount and improving textures. However of course that doesn't mean there couldn't be conflicts in case SMIM also modifies the meshes of the children models.

What do you mean, is it flickering or missing completely? Where? Screenshots or even a video would be good.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
I don't have first-hand experience but probably not since I can see no mention about it on the mod page. It's possible that SMIM still uses the old meshes from the classic Skyrim, in which case they will not help with the kind of brightness issue that the SSE have.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
Using Subsurface Scattering Patch glacier meshes.
Created custom glacierslab.dds, glacierslab_n.dds, glacierparallax.dds, and glaciersubsurface.dds.
Plus glacierslabnoalpha.dds and glacierslabnoalpha_n.dds generated by DynDOLOD for LOD.
Really need to understand what the Ice Shader Fix does.
Does it have anything to do with the BSLightingShaderProperty in glacier meshes?
Or is it a vanilla Skyrim fix? Or related to ENB shaders?
Thanks!

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
I don't have any comparison images here but it fixes the "dynamic" ice patches on rocks and various structures so that they're not excessively bright, only that.
