Re: Fallout 4 0.311
I've noticed something pretty bizarre. For some reason, Fallout 4's fog (near and distant) is illuminated by the godrays shader, even when there's none coming from the sun.
Took every imagespace and weather, removed the godrays from them, yet the fog is still being brightened by godrays. Since there's none coming from the sun, it's probably a bug. Only way to stop the fog from washing out is to type "gr off" in the console, but then the volumetric lights look ugly.

It seems like the kind of bug that is also a feature; as in, a cheap approximation of atmospheric scattering tied to the preexisting parameters without worrying about physical correctness.

Re: Fallout 4 0.311
I had a eureka moment, and changed all the weathers to us the "None Rays" godrays record. Lo' and behold, none of that awful fog illumination and tessellated sunlight, whilst volumetric lights still look fabulous.

Re: Fallout 4 0.311
Boris, does the latest ENB for Fallout 4 not read effect.txt files ?
I tried a bunch of them, not a single one get's loaded by the ENB, neither do your own effect.txt files..

Re: Fallout 4 0.311
No, dx11 mods do not support effect.txt, there is another name for the shader which have same functionality enbeffectpostpass.fx. Of course it have a bit different code, so existing effect.txt must be converted.

Re: Fallout 4 0.311
Folks, is there any problems with recent version of game and mod, like not working features of it?

Re: Fallout 4 0.311
I am still playing most nights and I haven't had any issues. Some folks reported the Creation Club caused some problems with mods. But haven't seen any issues, or heard of any, with ENB. I mange a bunch of presets and haven't seen any reports of issues with FO4 from users either.
That being said I like to be clear I am not an overly technical person so as long as everything runs and looks basically okay I am good with it - not sure I would notice finer details if something was slightly off that the more technical people around here would notice.
