@Courier O' Balls: I guess he is using this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/f ... 9198&tab=3
@Gionight: Yeah we had kind of a bad start, but you are being a really nice guy lately, so why live in the past? And by the looks of it you don't seem to be living in it either, so let's just forget what happened.
And about 102 to 113, I agree that it's quite some work, but in the end it's worth it. The new SSIL, shadowfixes and the godrays are simply amazing. So if you have some spare time on your hands, go for it.
@Dp3: Love the Sky in your sunset screenshots.
@Rest: The flood of amazing screenshots lately is just amazing.
I updated my config aswell, it still has the same feel it had before, but I reworked contrast, coloring, skies and, well almost everything.

Re: TES Skyrim
I have to say I'm still sometimes amazed how great this game can look, all thanks to Boris.
The light shafts are like an icing on the cake that not only increase the visual fidelity but also does wonders for the atmosphere - with high values I simply love the soft haze you get when looking towards the sun.

@Gionight
I still can't understand how you get your screens to look so crisp. It's like you've removed all the fog but still kept the color intact--amazing.
@T.A.Z
I like those shots of Azura. Whatever you've done to enhance the color is really neat--almost like weathered copper.
@mindflux
Would you mind posting your (new) vintage settings? I want to try something with the palette, but I don't think it would work too well with my own configuration. I'm pretty sure with some work you could get your screens to look identical to a Lomo photo...I mean, they're practically that already.
I apologize for the semi-awkward angles. As beautiful as the sun rays are in motion, it's quite tricky to do them justice in a single image.

Re: TES Skyrim
@Gionight - Thanks bud good to see you too - do you have any tips on softening the image down abit, love how your config looks so smooth. i have -250 on negative LOD.
@T.A.Z - I love the color's nice and crisp, i'm guessing you don't use hd6.

@Gionight
as always very clean work it really makes the illusion of being raytraced if you combine your work with trillvilles,theradikall,stakados,midrahs and propas it would be phenomenal, though each on their own is for itself.
@Trillville
it must be a combination of different things 1 most important being antialiasing to the deepest edge and trying to keep resolution high (so only solution SGSSAA, or downsampling with sharpening afterwards) and minimize every blurring possible (be it in textures or from shaders)
And as EvoFq3o0 mentions LOD though not sure if Engine settings are enough or if you really need Driver settings as well to reach this.
What surprises me he doesn't seem to use the bilateral filtering to optimize the shadows he might not have Detailed Shadows enabled, most probably the whole rendering as such is already slow enough
