Something I noticed is that SSS appears to effect the entire scene, not just body/skin.
I noticed this as well. When adjusted EpidermalMix I believe was the setting that was causing the skin to get bright but, the back ground dark.

Guzio
I dont see the bug, probably it's related to lighting mod you have installed. I tried with RLO default files (hope just copy them to data folder is enough), then loaded game in tavern, quitted, entered again and repeated this several times, cant see anything wrong. Same thing at night - no difference. All i can do is to give you a test with only one thing come to mind as potential suspect and you should test several times, compare with official 0.343 too (there is another idea, negative value for interior direct light in lighting mods, but most likely no).

EDIT: file deleted

I will do more testing. But, I am using ELFX where Guzio is using RLO. I switched to .341 and the issue was gone. I have been using ELFX for over a year now and no issue. Not sure why switching to .343 it would interfere with the lighting mod and it be a lighting mod issue. I have also had others users get with me on my ENB page about this. It is definitely being noticed.

I would like to release an update for my NVT and Re-Engaged ENB however, SSS seems to be affected by this issue cause being close to certain light sources seems to really blow up the SSS effect but, I don't want to turn down the effect cause soon as I move away from the source the setting is too weak. As Guzio state it seems to be a strong direct lighting effect.

I had one user mention that in skyrim ini having bVolumetricLightingDisableInterior=1 helps. But, I have not gotten the chance to test that yet.

I tested that DLL Boris and so far, the interiors I was having issues with seem to be back to normal. I made sure to test multiple times going in and out and also, loading saves.

Boris -- I have to test it more (I can do it only in the evening), but seems that the problem is fixed with that dll you have posted.

But I have another video for you, fireman_af mentioned about it :

Oyama
Why? ReShade is generic version, there is no need in such things any more.

Guzio
Oh, understood. Will check this.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.343

I'm also having the problem that Firemanaf mentioned above. The interiors are brighter than they should be and SSS is affecting the entire scene, not only the skins.

Phoenix, try the d3d11.dll Boris posted above. That did fix the bright interiors but, not the SSS affecting the whole scene.
