Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Heya, I've been using the Particle Patch since forever even when I didn't know what it did but there was a few comments on r/skyrimmods that mentioned to not use it with the latest ENB for Special Edition.

I already posted on the ENB Series topic but I'd love a difinitive yes/no answer if that's possible.

With the latest ENB is it reccommended to use the Particle Patch in Special Edition?

No, probably not a good idea to use it with the latest binaries and I'm not even sure whether any fixes are even required anymore.

is it possible to add the texture to this pack that is delivered by the Wet&Cold Mod? It is very game breaking to see someone breathing at night, while everything is pitch black, you can see the white mist..

Isn’t that effect specific to Wet & Cold, though? Or is there a breathing effect in the vanilla game now too?
