Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Try again, I uploaded the patch again. Seems like the previous one only opened with the latest 7-Zip, odd.

I think I now what causes the issue your described: ELFX changes the beam object to one of those that I _had_ fixed, so without ELFX the game was using an object that I _had not_ fixed yet. That resulted in the both needed to be installed for the object to react to [PARTICLE] parameters. Maybe it's fixed now with the new version, but if it isn't, I'll look into it again with ELFX installed.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Found another dust particle that is doing the same behavior like the thievesguild dust. it is a diagonal dust on the way to esbern in the ratways.

this is the one. it reacts to fire.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Hey Mindflux,

I found that the Candlelight spell reacts to Lightsprites and is on lvl 1.00 really low so that it seems pretty transparent instead of shiny glowing. all other hand spells (besides fire) are in first person not reacting to anything and in third person every spell effect in hand is not reacting to anything. they are just very weak transparent spells in hand. The spells seem fine when they are casted, but in the hands of the characters it seems that nothing takes effect.

I didn't test if the other spells "in hand" react to lightsprites but I will try that.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

So, I finally went through all the light beam objects (all 100+ of them, that is) to do what I can to improve them.

They should all now react to [PARTICLE] parameters and employ per-weather effect lighting.

A couple of quick screenshots of the result:

With so many objects and quite a bit of manual work involved issues are more than likely so if you spot any please do let me know.

SSE only.

Maybe you're using a mod that changes the effects or something? Just checked and mine look fine (Candlelight spell):

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

THanks man for the Lightbeams !!!!

I meant the casted candlelight. the normal candlelight in hand first person is good but the casted one floating one is reacting to lightsprite. Important it is only in third person! Candlelight atleast.

That's odd, that too is adequately bright (even too bright) for me with light sprite intensity set to 1.0.
