Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
I'm curious as to how ENB detects which type of mesh it is. For meshes that react to [PARTICLE] settings, does ENB just check for a BSEffectShaderProperty node?

Basically, it depends on what kind of shaders (the combination of) the object uses and alpha blending/testing.

It only happens on the leeks behind Whiterun, the other crops seem normal. I've only really checked around Whiterun. I'll install the update and let you know if it helped.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
So I haven't gotten a chance to test the updated Particle Patch for the invisible leek. I ran into another bug caused by a conflict with ELFX and Particle Patch. If the Elfx - Hardcore.esp is enabled with Particle patch installed, the interior waterfalls (in caves) turn black. Hiding the fxwaterfallthin meshes in the effects folder of Particle Patch (using Mod Organizer) fixes the waterfall bug, so those are the conflicting meshes. I can confirm this happens with all other .esp's and mods disabled, except ELFX, Elfx hardcore, skyui and Particle Patch.
I'm about to install the updated version of Particle Patch to test the leek, and I'll recheck the interior waterfalls.
My other question is, if I'm using several texture mods will the Particle Patch degrade texture quality back to vanilla for some textures?

UPDATE: I can confirm that the invisible unharvested leek is fixed with the updated Particle patch. Thanks!
The interior, black waterfall bug when using ELFX Hardcore.esp is still present, but I fixed that by hiding the fxwaterfallthin meshes in Particle Patch.

No problem, glad to hear the issue is fixed. By the way, potato doesn’t have the same issue?
As for the black waterfalls, it’s probably due to image space and/or weather modifications from ELFX. Not saying this is the reason, but for example setting ambient to zero and increasing brightness will probably result in an issue like that. I might check when I have time.

My other crops are visible, I've only checked around Whiterun.
The black waterfalls I can fix by hiding the fxwaterfallthin meshes, so it's not a big deal.
Also, if I'm using texture pack overhauls, does Particle Patch replace the texture entirely or simply modify them somehow so they don't glow? I am wondering if it decreases quality back to vanilla textures.
