The Shadows from "Detailed Shadows" are very hard and look out of place when close up, would it be possible to use soft shadows in your Detailed Shadows implementation?
I'm asking because quality would benefit noticeably.

Game already have blurry shadows, i dont know what you want to have by nerfing detailed shadows.

You can clearly see the edges of the shadows are too sharp and due to the fact that they compute more objects they tend to cast more, problem is a lot of the shadows are too hard and look bad when close up.

Oh, you mean on the belly? They are correct, it's problem of bad lighting code actually. I dont remember how fixed this in old skyrim, but it was something half working, dependent from camera setting. I'll try.
