Zero luck. Tried re engaged preset, increased ssao amount, but still can't see at any camera angles with your config files (of course in them i set my videocard name to not reset). https://imgur.com/a/0tj9sos

Re: [SSE .352 binaries] Weird lighting with scars

Its same problem as with previously reported footsteps mod on the snow. Invalid setup of properties, alpha test must be used to cut off pixels, but scar is drawed to deferred normal map in the area where diffuse texture is transparent, but normal is not. And my answer is the same as i told earlier to that report - i can't fix it, because it may destroy something with other mods or game objects, when transparency is required. If author of scar mod will make alpha test, this would be the best solution.

Re: [SSE .352 binaries] Weird lighting with scars

But this mod contains only the textures (plus esp), with a proper alpha for diffuse and normal maps. KjSage has mentioned that the same happens with the vanilla scars.

EDIT - found the vanilla mesh "femalemaskleftside.nif", seems that it's used for a scars on the left side of the face, and alpha testing is disabled in NiAlphaProperty.

EDIT 2 - fixed meshes for Humans and Orcs, enabled alpha testing. Can be installed using a Mod Manager.
KjSage test it, for me it works, maybe Mindflux can add this to the Particle Patch for SSE - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ec9kYG ... sp=sharing

Actually, seems like parts of the scar textures are getting muddled on the humans. Most noticeable with the northborn scars, where the texture seems to disappear in places, which also happens to some of the diverse scars as well.

Muddled? Try decreasing threshold.

Re: [SSE .352 binaries] Weird lighting with scars

Lowering the threshold in nifskope worked for the muddled appearance. Made the more severe burn scars look much better.

Still need to figure out the vanishing textures. I extracted the vanilla mask meshes out of the bsa and applied the alpha fix to check, same result. Using vanilla head mesh.

Edit: Ran through the list with a male preset, the clipping doesn't happen at all. Hmm.

Maybe that mesh for a female scars don't fit in the head mesh. Check it out with "twf" command.
