Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Hey Mindflux :)

Seems that the meshes from a vanilla game, used for a scars effect, have a little problems with ENB for SE - viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6036&start=20
It looks like a job for Superman..., or rather Particle Patch :)

I've turned on alpha testing for all those meshes and seems that it works, link for the archive is in this thread. Maybe you can include it in the next update.

Done! :D Thanks for the contribution. Haven't had any time for modding myself recently but seems like a job well done!

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Hey Mindflux :)
Updated those meshes used for scars - viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6036&p=82039#p82039, as it turned out, the vanilla meshes have soft lighting disabled, so ENB SSS not working on them and the scars look strange with enb. More like a tattoos, than a real scars.

But I have one problem, the normal map is flickering sometimes, I can't realise why. Maybe you can solve this mystery ?

Guzio
Just speculation and ideas as i don't have much time to test, the tangent data might be wrong that could cause flickering or it might be that the uv's need a slight adjustment. Creating a new normal and discarding the vanilla one might help, also a normal without the alpha shape of the scar but with transparency might do the trick aswell.

LucidAPs -- This is a vanilla mesh, so the tangents and UV should be o.k.. I need to try to fix that normal map. Maybe it will help. Thanks :)

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Mindflux -- Here is a link for updated and fixed meshes for a scars and eyebrows, for all the races. They reacts to ENB SSS, SSAO is applied to them and finally doesn't flicker anymore. For now, tested only by me :) - https://drive.google.com/file/d/14DhtcQ ... sp=sharing

LucidAPs -- All the problems with clipping meshes were caused by WICO mod, and not the normal map was the problem only AO, but it stops flicker with a shader flag "Zbuffer Write" turned on.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB

Oh nice, you found the reason for the flickering? :) What was it? (Nevermind, read your comment to LucidAPs.)

I have been on the road so haven’t been able to take a look but I’ll update the patch tomorrow.

Not really much you can easily, simply let those mods overwrite to make sure they work as designed.

Updated the SSE plugin to include all affected interior cells to help detect the correct time of day.
