The Elder Scrolls Skyrim SE (SSE)
Many internal fixes for better quality similar to old skyrim. This includes subsurface scattering blending, clouds shadow, ssao/ssil. Removed dots on snow and black bug on the snow when snow shader enabled in game video options and lighting intensity is big.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.363
Hi, I'm having this issue since the 362 binaries when subsurface scattering is enabled.

I guess it is caused by the road meshes, I use this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... /mods/8834

No bugs for me, with both versions of that mod in snowy area and on the way from riverwood to whiterun.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.363
I have exactly the same issue with v362 as Couleuvre. With Blended Roads and Nordic Snow installed. Will try v363 and report shortly.
Could the particle patch from Mindflux be the culprit?
[EDIT] v363, still got the issue.

Re: TES Skyrim SE 0.363
I didn't have this problem with the 356 binaries by the way.
It seems like uninstalling blended roads fixes the issue, at least for the roads.

I also noticed I have the same kind of problem with some snowy rocks.

These screenshots were taken near the farm where you meet Cicero for the first time, to the North of Whiterun.
EDIT: Alright, I think I found the cause. It only happens when the game snow shaders are disabled.
Enabling them in the launcher fixes everything.

Loreious Farm (?). My screens were taken a bit more north.
@couleuvre: Do you use Obsidian Weathers as well?
[EDIT] I play with bEnableImprovedSnow=0 and bEnableProjecteUVDiffuseNormals=1

@jjensson
Yeah, same place.
Snow shaders off:

Snow shaders on:

I usually keep them disabled because I can't stand those little white dots.
Yeah, same place.

Couleuvre. I'm the the mod author for Fluffy Snow. i'm not having this issue when running blended roads and my snow mod. Are you running his latest version of Blended Roads?couleuvre wrote:@jjensson

I usually keep them disabled because I can't stand those little white dots.
If so, could you try the following:
1.) Install Fluffy Snow again. When prompted to replace SnowRoad/SnowRoad_N from blended roads, choose NO. Let him use his textures.
2.) Install my Optional Fluffy Snow - Blended Roads Patch. This will remove his additional colors he applies to the road.
See if that works. If you are not running the latest, might be worth it to try it out. Otherwise, try my steps above.
In the end, it should look like this:
