Hey Thanks Mindflux for looking into it. In the same way the Fire Staff has the same problem. The Flame on the stuff is totally dull just like the flame in hands in third person.

Noticed that there's are no flames even in the vanilla game (I think, my game is not entirely clean) but thought what the hell, maybe something like is what you're looking for?
Also lights the wall nicely when you're strolling around.

Lol this looks really cool !! I think you will se it better when you start to cast with the staff. because if you start to cast a flame is forming on the staff before you let it go. try that maybe

Yeah this thing is like a flamethrower, a bit too over the top.
Everything animation timing related is very difficult (=impossible) to control without proper Bethesda tools so I wouldn't be too hopeful.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
This torch work now, sorry, maybe I was using a wrong mesh.
About a first person problem, I'v noticed, that when I'm holding a weapon, close to someone who uses spells, it's illuminated and casts a shadow, but only in third person view. In first person mode, it cast a shadow but isn't illuminated by a light.
EDIT - one more thing, this torch held by NPC's (I think that the nif is placed in the "meshes/weapons/torch" folder) seems to react to both particle and fire lights. So it cast the lighting twice (is really bright) and prehaps the shadows too.

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
so the Special edition particle patch returns some errors when run through NifScan, I would fix them my self but i don't know what the intended effect should be (most of the errors are mismatched External Emittance flags and i dont know if you intend for it to be on or off)

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
Thanks Guzio, I'll fix that as well. (EDIT: Fixed now, this time I had forgotten to add that torch model to the download.)
Pop000100 True, those are harmless but I'll remove them in the next update. (EDIT: Fixed now, SSE patch updated.)

Re: Skyrim particle patch for ENB
How does ENB detect particles? Can't seem to get ENB to detect my fx mesh. It's a double sided nif with additive blending (source : source alpha, dest: one), and glow is controlled by emissive colour.
